Common faults & fixes
Partial board (SMART)
On SMART/graceful-degradation hashboards (Bitdeer, Auradine), a board running below full chip count but still contributing is often DESIGNED behavior - not an automatic failure.
→ Accept designed graceful degradation; escalate only a fully-down or worsening board.
No hashrate
Standard modern-miner flow: the unit boots and serves its UI but produces no shares. Diagnose like any Antminer-class unit.
→ Network/pool/power first; these boot fine but need the basics right.
Hydro / thermal
Air units throw fan/temp faults like any miner. Hydro units (SEALMINER A2 Hydro, Auradine AH) fault on the WATER side - flow, inlet temp, leaks.
→ Air = fan/airflow; hydro = pump/flow/inlet-temp/leaks.
Network / pool
Same as any modern miner: no link, wrong subnet, or bad DNS. Auradine's Zero-Touch Provisioning specifically needs DHCP/network correct at deploy.
→ Link → subnet → DNS → pool config, in that order.
Status lights
Both status LEDs solid GREEN
Normal operation - miner is powered, healthy, and hashing (status code NORMAL).
LED OFF / dark
No power to that indicator - unit or board is not powered (NO_POWER).
RED (solid or flashing)
A fault condition is flagged - over-temp, control board, hashboard, PSU, fan, or low-hashrate.
YELLOW (solid or flashing)
Attention / transitional state - tuning, warming, standby, locate, or a low-severity warning.
any colorFlashing LED (any color)
Locate/identify mode, or a transient state such as resetting, warming, tuning, or firmware upgrade.
